The Velveteen Rabbit

Velveteen Rabbit

Springing to life for a whole new generation is the timeless tale of a toy bunny who longs to become real. In this show the audience's imagination converts the actors and their simple props into a wise old rocking horse, an assortment of toys, and a magical fairy. Based on the book by Margery Williams, the play is a joyous celebration of imagination, creativity, and the power of a child’s love.

"Real isn't how you are made. It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.”

The Velveteen Rabbit by Kevin Del Aguila, based on the book by Margery Williams will play on November 19 & 26 at 11:00am, and December 3 at 11:00am and 1:00pm. Tickets can be purchased by clicking the links or by calling the box office at (941) 366-9000.

The Velveteen Rabbit is also part of the WRITE A PLAY program, for more information click here.
