Become A Friend

Becoming a FRIEND of Florida Studio Theatre with a tax-deductible donation of $35 or more will help impact more than 200,000 children and adults each year through our artistic and education programs.

Florida Studio Theatre is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our goal is to bring the best in contemporary theatre to Sarasota year-round. Your support is vital. Producing high-quality theatre and education programs with the best theatre artists comes at a high cost. FST’s annual ticket revenue covers only 70% of the actual cost of our programming. FRIENDS contributions make up the difference between our low ticket prices and the actual cost of operating all of our programs. Your support will help FST continue to make theatre as affordable and accessible to as many people as possible.

Scholarships

FST’s scholarship program covers enrollment costs for nearly 15% of students every year.

Florida Studio Theatre’s Arts Plaza will be a state-of-the-art building designed to meet a wide range of FST’s artistic needs and serve its robust and growing audience.
