Welcome to the Florida Studio Theatre School. With offerings in Theatre Performance, Theatre Writing, Improvisation, and Theatre Appreciation, FST School classes include a wide range of opportunities year-round for adult students of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Whether you are just starting out on your theatrical adventure or are a seasoned performer looking to polish your skills, our teaching staff of professional resident artists will help guide you on your journey as you make new discoveries, develop new work, and meet your personal creative goals. Guest artists from FST Mainstage, Cabaret, or Stage III, may drop in to work with our classes.
Class sizes are intimate, ensuring personalized feedback. Performance opportunities provide an outlet for students to showcase their work and gain experience in front of a live audience.

Will Luera
SARAH DURHAM is originally from Campbellsville, Kentucky. Her writing has been published or produced in five states. Sarah studied improv and comedy writing at Chicago’s Second City and hopes to continue to write joy into people’s lives. At FST, Sarah has co-written for the Children’s Theatre series and helped develop numerous cabarets. Sarah is the Head-Writer for FST Sketch and is a member of the FST Improv team.
CATHERINE RANDAZZO is an Associate Artist for FST. She serves as Literary Manager, in-residence director, teaching artist, and professional actor. She leads new play development, collaborates on Cabaret development, teaches adult education classes, and leads audience outreach programs. She recently directed That’s Amoré!; Outlaws and Angels; Light My Fire; and Unchained Melodies for the Cabaret and Buyer & Cellar for Stage III. She attended Otterbein University where she received her BFA in performance.
Rachel Moulton - Currently in her 4th Season as an Associate Artist and Development Associate. Rachel has been working with FST as an actor since 2012 and has performed in 10 productions, including 4 world premieres. Select FST credits: George Brant’s one-woman show Grounded (2017 Handy Award-Best Actress), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Heisenberg, Honor Killing, and Alabama Story. Other Regional: Pioneer Theatre Company, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Virginia Stage, Syracuse Stage, and Florida Rep. Off-Broadway: This Side of Paradise (St. Clements), Sex Tips… (Theatre 777), and Philip Goes Forth (The Mint). Proud graduate of Syracuse University, B.F.A. and Interlochen Arts Academy. Member of Actors’ Equity Association for 16 years. Currently, she teaches Acting in FST School for Adults. WILL LUERA is the Director of Improvisation at Florida Studio Theatre, Director of Big Bang Improv, and serves as the Artistic Director Emeritus of ImprovBoston. He is the co-creator of Healing Moments for Alzheimer’s, a non-profit organization that provides education, advocacy, and ministry for persons with dementia and their caregivers. He is a conflict mediator with a focus on EDIA issues in the workplace. He sits on the board of CreArte Latino, a Latino-centric cultural community center in the Sarasota area. Will tours globally as an improv comedy actor, instructor, director and performs and teaches regularly all across North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
