Florida Studio Theatre School is dedicated to nurturing individual creativity. Through year-round class offerings for students of all ages and experience levels in acting, dancing, singing, playwriting, and improvisation.  FST’s mission includes a strong commitment to making theatre accessible and affordable to as many people as possible. In keeping with that mission, FST’s scholarship program covers enrollment costs for 15% of students every year. Individual scholarships vary and can cover a single class or a full year of classes to ensure that all students interested in learning the art of theatre are able to do so.

“Because of FST’s investment in me and the generosity of its supporters, I was able to attend the FST School on scholarships when my single mother of three children could not afford tuition. Today, I continue to give back to FST not only because I believe children need a space to explore, create, dream, play and make-believe. They also need to understand emotions, feelings and how our own actions have strong impacts on the world around us. The kids I grew up with who attended FST with me are kind, generous, and empathic beings because of our unique journey, which started at Florida Studio Theatre, my forever home!”

Thank you for your support.

Florida Studio Theatre would like to thank the above Foundations along with our Individual Donors who have greatly contributed to the FST School Scholarship fund. Thanks to your support, deserving students, who wouldn’t otherwise be able to join us at the FST School, now have access to a creative outlet where they can explore and unlock their artistic potential through live theatre.

FST School programming is made possible in large part through an Endowment by The William James Foundation.
