Laurel Canyon became a nest of creativity, immortalizing artists like Joni Mitchell, Buffalo Springfield, Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young and The Mamas and the Papas, all of whom called the neighborhood home. Enjoy hits like “Desperado,” “California Dreamin’,” “Turn, Turn, Turn,” and “Love the One You’re With.”

KEVIN DOUGLAS | Member of the duo Douglas and Hawk, he landed a recording deal under the Mercury Records imprint (2002). In addition to Buffalo Rome, Kevin is a working A-list studio vocalist and songwriter. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, played just about every honky tonk in the country, and at a variety of fairs and festivals. TV: Good Morning America, GAC and CMT. He also performed at a Target Grand Opening event in the lingerie department!
MARK SCHAFFEL | From Miami, New York City to Nashville; in the genres of jazz, rock, techno, hip hop, R&B, gospel, latin and country, Mark has worn the hats of performer, songwriter, producer, engineer, dance remixer and programmer. He has worked with Andrea Martin, Angela Bofill, Keith Washington, producers Keith Diamond and Jeffrey Lesser, Arrested Development, Speech, New York Voices, Tremaine Hawkins and Billy Ray Cyrus. He co-wrote and produced The Distance. Mark is the co-creator of the international musical project LingoTech, a multimedia project that inspires young people around the world to acquire languages. LingoTech’s concerts have taken him to the Middle East, Indonesia, Europe, Scandinavia, and China.
MICHAEL VISCONTI is a singer and songwriter originally from Bethesda, Maryland. He moved to New York City to record for Capitol records. He began acting and appeared in such roles as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Chuck in Avenue X, and Valentino in the film That’s Adequate starring Bruce Willis and Robert Downey, Jr. Michael has also performed with Elton John, Michael Bolton, Paula Abdul, Mel Torme, Julian Lennon, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Kenny Loggins and has sung jingles for McDonalds, Diet Coke, the U.S. Army, and Burger King. With his band Buffalo Rome he appeared on the Great American Country network, played at The Country Music Hall of Fame, and was featured on Muscle Shoals to Music Row. Michael created a musical program with The China Philharmonic Orchestra and wrote two musicals produced to great success at Casa Mañana.
The Music of Laurel Canyon cast will rotate throughout the show’s run and will feature a three-person cast each performance.
