Kristian Bush is a multi-PLATINUM-selling, two-time GRAMMY® Award winner most known for co-founding the record-breaking country duo Sugarland with Jennifer Nettles. In 2015, he released his debut solo album "Southern Gravity," home to his hit "Trailer Hitch." He followed it up with a series of songs and albums, including his year-long project "52” that he began to roll out in 2022 in honor of his 52nd birthday. Kristian divided the 52-song collection into four volumes, released them over 12 months, and leaned into the eclectic influences he collected throughout his expansive music career
The Sevierville, TN native launched his professional music career in 1994 with the Folk Rock duo Billy Pilgrim. Within the decade, Kristian formed Sugarland, and the group released its debut single, "Baby Girl," in 2004. Sugarland charted five No. 1 hits and 12 Top 10 songs. Kristian made a foray into television theme songs in 2016 with "Forever Now (Say Yes)," which he penned and performed for TLC's popular show "Say Yes to the Dress."
The multi-instrumentalist is also a founding member of Rock Jam band Dark Water alongside his brother Brandon Bush and esteemed guitarist Benji Shanks. In addition, Kristian co-wrote a song for the Atlanta staging of Stephen Schwartz's "Working: A Musical" and has written three musicals. "Troubadour" (2017) and "Darlin' Cory" (2021) opened at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre, and "Me Before You."
Brandon Bush has performed on 100s of recordings including GRAMMY® Award nominated and winning releases by John Mayer, Sugarland, Little Big Town and Shawn Mullins. As a former member of the rock band Train, Brandon toured the world indulging in his life long fantasy of performing a keyboard solo on a smoke emitting Moog synthesizer. He has composed and music directed for theatrical productions of Approval Junkie, Shakespeare In Love and the world premier musicals Troubadour and Darlin’ Cory at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta, GA. In addition to scoring recent podcasts, Gangster House, The Baron of Botox, and Broadway Revival, he has provided original music for TCM and the Food Network. Currently, Bush is touring as the keyboardist with Sugarland and as the music director for his brother Kristian Bush. He manages the Atlanta based music collective Songs of the Architect.
