Gompertz Theatre

This space has been home to almost every performing arts group in Sarasota at various points in its history.

The Gompertz Theatre is located in The Hegner Theatre Wing on the corner of Cocoanut Avenue and First Street. Seating 237, this space features a full stage, with full technical capabilities that include theatre lighting and sound. This space has been used for discussions, seminars, conferences, and more. Located in the same building is The Green Room Cafe & Bar, which can seat up to 45 people for lunch or dinner, and it features a full bar for any pre- or post-event mixer.
