Whether you’re completely new to acting or are looking to brush up your skills, Acting Foundations is an introduction to the terminology, tools, and methods for the beginning actor. Over the course of this class, we’ll engage in sensory work, physical and vocal warm-ups, and exercises in relaxation and concentration. Students will learn industry vocabulary, stage directions, and will be introduced to script analysis. On our feet, we’ll rehearse monologues, work as an ensemble, and explore scene study. This class is designed to be taken again and again as emerging actors continue to build their skills and develop their craft.
