Romance is a distant memory for two lonely animal-lovers living in Dublin. When forlorn Dan and his dog Chapatti cross paths with the amiable Betty and her nineteen cats, an unexpected spark begins a warm and gentle story about two people rediscovering the importance of human companionship.

SUSAN GREENHILL is so happy to return to FST where she most recently had the great joy of playing Dr. Ruth in Becoming Dr. Ruth, also directed by Kate Alexander. Other FST productions include Shirley Valentine, Dinner with Friends (SRQ Award), ...and L.A. is Burning, Molly Sweeney, and Southern Comforts. In New York she has performed in Crimes of the Heart on Broadway and new works at Playwrights Horizons, Primary Stages, Actors Studio Theatre, and Urban Stages to name only a few. Regionally she has appeared at numerous theatres from The Long Wharf to Repertory Theatre of St. Louis in such plays as The Clean House (Acclaim Award), Sideman (Barrymore Award), Noises Off, Private Lives, The Glass Menagerie, and 4000 Miles. On TV and film, she has been seen on The Good Wife, Law and Order, The Chappelle Show, Clarissa Explains It All, Guiding Light, Another World, Italian Movie, Pecker (Jon Waters, director), Bargain by Hail Street, New World Order (Sundance Festival) and many commercials and voiceovers.
COLIN LANE has performed on Broadway, off B’way, and off-off B’way. From the American Repertory Theatre, in Cambridge, MA, to the Mark Taper Forum in LA, from the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, to Florida Studio Theatre, he has performed at most of the major regional theaters. He’s a Handy Award winner for Victor in Remembrance, a Drama Logue Award winner for Frank Sweeney in Molly Sweeney, and a Broadway World Orlando nominee for Frank Hardy in Faith Healer. He last performed at FST in 2011 in Ghost-Writer directed by Kate Alexander. Movies include: Time Bomb, First Steps, Broken Harvest, The Blood Oranges, and Lesser Prophets.
