DAVID S. HOWARD earned an MFA at Brandeis University and was Guest Artist and Acting Instructor there from 1967 to 1975. He worked at Sarasota’s Asolo Repertory for 20 seasons between 1976 and 2011. On film, he played Eddie Sloan in Meet Joe Black, Sol Rosenthal in Woody Allen’s Crimes and Misdemeanors, Dr. Kramer in Substance of Fire, Irv in Moonstruck, and Robin Williams’ doctor in Woody Allen’s Deconstructing Harry. He has appeared on Broadway as Nat in I’m Not Rappaport, Off-Broadway, and in numerous TV soaps and series.
