GARY MARACHEK A former resident of Sarasota, Gary has been a full-time actor on stage, screen, television, in concert, etc. for over thirty-five years. He has appeared in some 300 stage productions (mostly leading roles) throughout this country including forty countries around the world. He just completed shooting the co-starring role of Miles, a retired weapons expert, in his latest featured-length si-fi film, "Protokon" to be released this year. He is a twelve-time award winning actor, including four Carbonell best actor awards, is a published author, recording artist, a featured singer in Cirque Du Soliel's "Cirque Dreams" and is the voice of Tony The Tiger. This marks his 7th appearance here on our stages. He resides in Manhattan with his fiancee and biggest fan, Laurie. www.GaryMarachek.com.
RICHIE MCCALL, from New York City, is thrilled to return to the cabaret stage of FST. He was seen in the original Broadway, Toronto, and National touring company of Hal Prince’s production companies of Showboat. The Broadway touring company of Tommy Tune’s Grand Hotel. He has appeared on TV, Film, and numerous commercials. His one man show, which he wrote and starred in, “Me and Stepin” was nominated at the Midtown Festival in NYC. Soon to be seen this fall in the Web Series, “Everything’s OK.”
ALI REED is making her FST debut! Off-Broadway: Happy Karaoke Fun Time. Regional credits include: Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit), Reefer Madness (Sally), They're Playing Our Song (Sonia Walsk), One Hot Kitchen (Pammy). She has been seen at 54 Below, Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret, and The Pittsburgh City Theater as well. Ali performs musical improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade, The Magnet Theater, The People's Improv Theater, and The Annoyance Theater in New York City.
JIM PROSSER Over his many years at FST, Jim has most often performed in the Cabaret, where he has arranged and co-developed many shows including Dancing In The Street, By Gershwin, Laughing Matters, European Cabaret, That’s Life, Again, British Invasion, Shakespeare’s Greatest Hits, Harry Who?, Too Darn Hot, and last season’s production of The Prima Donnettes. He has also served as resident composer/music director for FST’s Education department, writing numerous songs and scores for children’s shows such as Androcles and the Lion, RAP-Punzel, and the WRITE A PLAY elementary tours. During last season, Jim was pianist and music director for FST’s Sophie Tucker: The Last of the Red Hot Mommas at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theater.
