DIANNA BUSH was last seen in Sarasota while shimmying across the country in the national tour of Smokey Joe’s Cafe. Other credits include Pericles and Cymbeline in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the world premiere of Shore Points at The Irish Arts Center Manhattan, Red, Hot and Blue at Goodspeed Opera House, Othello with The Shakespeare Project, Company at The Huntington Theatre in Boston, Penelope at North Shore Music Theatre, Tommy at NJPAC, and the national tour of Leader of the Pack.
STEVEN FLAA is very happy to finally be doing his first show at FST. A working actor for over twenty-five years, Steven has appeared at theatres from Montana to Miami. Some of his local work has included Sparky in Forever Plaid at the Jaeb Theatre at TBPAC and Malcolm in The Full Monty at the Golden Apple. Steven also recently directed The Big Bang and Little Shop of Horrors at American Stage in St. Pete.
JANNIE JONES recently received critical acclaim in the National Broadway tour of All Shook Up as Sylvia. Broadway and Off-Broadway: The Full Monty, Faith Journey, Mama I Want to Sing. Critically Acclaimed in Mahalia as Mahalia Jackson and Ethel Waters, His Eye Is on the Sparrow written by Larry Parr. Other credits are: Crowns, That’s Cole (Cole Porter), All Night Strut, It Ain’t Nothing But the Blues, and Ain’t Misbehavin’ to name a few. Soaps: All My Children and The Guiding Light. A singer since the age of five, Ms. Jones’ career has taken her to 23 different countries and the stages of New York’s Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and Radio City Music Hall, with famed Spanish singer Raphael. Ms. Jones toured the Netherlands and the South of France with Barry White and can be heard on his final hit song “Practice What You Preach,” and Teddy Pendergrass’ CD Say It.
RICHIE MCCALL hails from New York City and was in both the Broadway production and national tour of Show Boat. He was also seen in the national tour of Tommy Tune’s Grand Hotel and has toured extensively throughout Europe. He just premiered his original solo show, Me and Stepin, about the life of film actor Stepin Fetchit in New York City. Richie’s regional credits include productions of Pippin, Hamlet, Porgy and Bess, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Comedy of Errors, and Sweet Charity, to name a few. He has appeared in several commercials and his television credits include One Life to Live, Caroline in the City and The Cosby Show. He can be seen in the VH1 documentary Driven: Jennifer Lopez. Richie was a founding member of the Judith Shakespeare Company in New York. He was seen in FST’s productions of The Flip Side, It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues, The All Night Strut, My One and Only Gershwin and A Vaudeville Cabaret and is happy to return to Sarasota.
