J VANCE is an Indiana native who recently graduated from Ball State University with his BFA in Acting. Some of his recent collegiate credits include Gov. Jack Slaton in Parade, as well as Ben Weeks in The Normal Heart. Feeling extremely fortunate to be here, Justin is a proud member of the acting apprentice company at Florida Studio Theatre.
CAREY BLACKBURN is from Greensboro, NC and received her BFA in Musical Theatre from East Carolina University in May 2017. Trained in both Meisner and musical theatre techniques at ECU, she enjoys everything from Eugene O’Neill to Pasek and Paul. Some of her favorite roles performed include Young Woman in Machinal; Sally in Reefer Madness; and Alice in Closer. Her upcoming passion project is a health and fitness blog for performers called Triple Threat Fitness!
DAVION T. BROWN is a graduate from the University of Toledo with a BA in Theatre with a focus in acting. There he held a multitude of roles, the most noteworthy being in No Exit and The Laramie Project for which he received the Irene Ryan Award nomination for Best Male Actor. Professionally, Davion has held an assortment of iconic roles, including: George Murchison (A Raisin In the Sun), Macbeth (Macbeth), and Hamlet (Hamlet).
MICHAEL FRASER is an Ohio University graduate and Acting Apprentice at Florida Studio Theatre. His favorite past roles include, Jason in Occupation: Dad; and Williamson in Glengarry Glen Ross. With FST he’s performed in the family Improv show Just for Laughs, Animal Instincts as Dog, and is a cast member of FST Improv.
KIHRESHA REDMOND received her BFA in Acting at Ohio University. She is in her second year of being an acting apprentice here at FST. Last year she loved touring as a Playmaker, but now she is very excited to be in the action packed Robin Hood!
JON DEVRIES is proud to make his Florida Studio Theatre debut as a member of the acting apprentice company. His recent credits include The Glimmerglass Festival’s Oklahoma! and La bohème. Additionally, he has appeared onstage at the Howmet Playhouse, Actors’ Theatre Grand Rapids, Calvin Theatre Company, and more. Jon has held administrative positions at the Goodman Theatre and The Glimmerglass Festival. He holds a BA in Theatre and Business from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
