(Sarasota, FL) — Florida Studio Theatre (FST) is thrilled to open its 2025-26 Winter Cabaret Season with Feeling Good, an original revue created by Rebecca Hopkins and Richard Hopkins, with musical arrangements by Jim Prosser. Featuring hits from Michael Bublé to Bette Midler, this stylish show celebrates the modern crooners making waves today – and the greats who inspired them. Previews begin Sept. 24, officially opening Sept. 26, with performances through Feb. 1 in FST’s Court Cabaret.

Stroll into an evening of style, swagger, and everlasting charm with Feeling Good. This cabaret invites audiences to savor swingin’ favorites like “Come Fly With Me” and “It Had to Be You,” fresh hits like “Home” and “Moondance,” and delightfully cheeky numbers such as “Stuff Like That There” and “Me and Mrs. Jones.” Equal parts class and sass, Feeling Good will leave you – well – feeling good.

“Directing Feeling Good has been a joy because the music truly spans generations,” said Director and FST Associate Producer Catherine Randazzo. “Audiences will hear songs made famous by the timeless crooners of the past, while also discovering how that same style continues to inspire contemporary artists today. It’s a show that invites you to tap your foot, hum along, and maybe even fall in love with a new favorite.”

Feeling Good explores the innovation of the classic crooner sound, tracing its evolution from silky-voiced pioneers like Frank Sinatra to modern trailblazers like Lady Gaga and Michael Bublé.

A dynamic trio will bring this distinctive music to life in FST’s Court Cabaret: Haley K. Clay (FST debut), who has performed in over 71 countries; Andrew Leggieri (FST debut), an original cast member of Broadway’s Bandstand; and Russell Mernagh (FST debut), who has appeared in theatrical productions nationwide. They are joined by Christian “CC” Allen on drums and Jim Prosser on piano.

The creative team includes Catherine Randazzo (Director/Costume Designer), Nathaniel Beliveau (Music Direction), Ben Liebert (Choreography), Andrew Gray (Lighting & Scenic Design), Nicholas Christensen (Sound Design), and Kate Johnson (Stage Manager/Sound & Light Board Operator).

Prepare to savor the silky melodies of Feeling Good from September 24, 2025, to February 1, 2026. Previews are September 24 and 25, with opening night on September 26, 2025. Single tickets start at $37.

Feeling Good is part of FST’s three-show Winter Cabaret subscription, which also includes Three Pianos, a tribute to the piano legends who redefined the rules, along with One Hit Wonders, a celebration of songs that topped the charts once but left a permanent mark on pop culture. Subscriptions are on sale now for as little as $59, and single tickets start at $37. For more information, visit FloridaStudioTheatre.org or call (941) 366-9000.

 About Florida Studio Theatre

Florida Studio Theatre (FST) is Sarasota’s contemporary theatre. Founded in 1973, FST has grown to a village of five theatres located in the heart of Downtown Sarasota. Each theatre is small in size and large in impact — providing intimate and engaging settings for high-quality, professional performances.

Today, FST has established itself as a major force in American Theatre. FST is the largest subscription theatre in the state of Florida and among the largest in the country, serving more than 230,000 live attendees each year across its diverse programs: Mainstage, Cabaret, Stage III, Children’s Theatre, The FST School, New Play Development, and FST Improv.

Even with its growth, Florida Studio Theatre remains firmly committed to making the arts accessible and affordable to as many people as possible. Under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Richard Hopkins, FST develops theatre that speaks to our living, evolving, and dynamically changing world. Hip and historical, entertaining and challenging, we are the theatre where the street meets the elite — where everyone is welcome to engage in the art of theatre.
