SARASOTA, Fla. (February 24, 2026) — By popular demand, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces the extension of its hit cabaret Three Pianos through April 19, 2026, in FST’s Goldstein Cabaret. Created by Rebecca Hopkins, Richard Hopkins, and Sarah Durham, with musical arrangements by Jim Prosser, this electrifying revue celebrates legendary piano-driven hits and the bold artists who redefined popular music from behind the keys.
Critics continue to praise the production. BroadwayWorld calls it “a true crowd-pleaser” that “takes the stage by storm,” encouraging audiences to “get ready for a fun night!” Total Theater describes the show as “legendary” and filled with “heart and soul,” while the Venice Gondolier-Sun hails it as “iconic.” Family Beautiful celebrates the cabaret’s “fresh, vibrant, foot-stomping, heart-racing joy,” calling it “electric” and “unapologetically fun.”
“I want people to leave this show feeling the joy that we feel onstage when playing this incredible music,” says musician Devin McDuffy. “I want them to absorb the good vibes and be reminded of the power that music holds to inspire and move communities. Most of all, I want them to feel the sense of unity that music can bring to us all.”
From Billy Joel to Alicia Keys, Ray Charles to Freddie Mercury, Three Pianos celebrates the piano legends who refused to play by the rules. They aren’t the typical cookie-cutter rock stars: they’re the rebels, romantics, and risk-takers of the music world. Featuring timeless favorites like “Crocodile Rock,” “Just the Way You Are,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “I’m Still Standing,” and “Beautiful,” this cabaret reminds audiences to follow their own tune.
“The show is a celebration of all these artists and how they wanted to share what they genuinely felt,” explains vocalist Eddie Weaver.
“They were people who wanted to share what they had to say, more so than just be stars,” adds musician Jared Svoboda.
Bringing these upbeat tunes to the Goldstein Cabaret is Sarah Hund (Lucky Stiff, Once, Honor Killing, The Blue Eyed Bettys, American Pie, Take It to the Limit), Eddie Weaver (The ‘70s: More Than a Decade, Cinderella, The Wanderers), Jared Svoboda (FST debut, and Devin McDuffy (FST debut).
The creative team includes Catherine Randazzo (Director), John Bronston (Music Direction), Jim Prosser, Nathaniel Beliveau (Music), Andrew Gray (Lighting & Scenic Design), Nicholas Christensen (Sound Design), Madison Queen (Costume Design), Leigh Womack (Sound & Light Board Operator), Allison Hannon (Projections Designer), and Sage Brown (Stage Manager).
Get swept away in the anthemic joy of Three Pianos, now extended through April 19, 2026. Single tickets start at $37.
Three Pianos is part of FST’s three-show Winter Cabaret subscription, which also includes Feeling Good, an ode to smooth singers from Frank Sinatra to Michael Bublé, along with One Hit Wonders, a celebration of songs that only topped the charts once but left a permanent mark on pop culture. Subscriptions are on sale now for as little as $59, and single tickets start at $37. For more information, visit FloridaStudioTheatre.org or call (941) 366-9000.
