Some voices don’t just entertain — they define an era. Some songs don’t just climb the charts — they become anthems. And some women don’t just perform — they command the stage. These are the Divas — the trailblazers, the icons, the legends who didn’t just sing; they changed music forever.
At FST's Divas, audiences will relive the electrifying hits of powerhouse artists like Cher, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Celine Dion — sung by three phenomenal vocalists who embody the spirit of these musical legends. Starring FST favorite Jannie Jones alongside Sarah Colt and Aja Goes, this show is more than just a tribute; it’s a testament to the power of music to inspire, connect, and transcend generations.
Jones, whose dynamic performances have captivated FST audiences for years, knows firsthand what it means to bring a legend’s story to life.
“A true Diva doesn’t just sing,” she says. “She makes you feel something.”
And that’s exactly what she, Colt, and Goes do — channeling the heart, soul, and fire of the women whose voices have shaped music history.
Colt was part of last season’s hit cabaret show, Take It to the Limit, where she wowed audiences with her powerhouse vocals and commanding stage presence. Goes, meanwhile, makes her highly anticipated FST debut with Divas, bringing fresh energy and vocal prowess to the stage. Together, these three artists don’t just perform these legendary songs — they breathe new life into them, reminding audiences why these hits have stood the test of time.
From the commanding rock vocals of Cher to the emotional depth of Whitney Houston, from the soul-stirring anthems of Aretha Franklin to the larger-than-life presence of Tina Turner, Divas celebrates the women who paved the way for today’s artists. Their influence is still felt in the voices of performers like Adele, Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga — proof that the legacy of a Diva never fades.
"Every generation has its Divas,” says show director Catherine Randazzo. “They set the bar. They redefine music. And their songs — whether they were released in the ’60s, the ’90s, or last year — still make us feel something real.”
That’s the magic of Divas. It’s not just about honoring the past; it’s about celebrating the timeless power of these voices. Whether you grew up listening to these hits on the radio, danced to them at your first concert, or discovered them through a streaming playlist, their impact is undeniable.
