Guitar Girls

A celebration of female singer-songwriters. Icons like June Carter-Cash, Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin, and Dolly Parton have proven that a girl with a guitar can make an undeniable impact. Featuring songs like “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” “Jolene,” “Big Yellow Taxi,” and “I Will Always Love You.”

CAT GREENFIELD is thrilled to make her FST Debut! She is a singer, songwriter, actormusician, and puppeteer based out of Virginia and NYC. Favorite credits include Woody Guthrie’s American Song (Palm Beach Dramaworks); That Golden Girls Show: A Puppet Parody (DR2 Theatre); Ring of Fire (Cortland Repertory Theatre and Oregon Cabaret Theatre); Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train Live (North American Tour); and Disney Dreams (Disney Cruise Lines). TAMRA HAYDEN has performed on Broadway as Cosette in Les Miserables and as Texas in Cabaret (Studio 54). Off-Broadway: Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris. She has toured the US as Christine in Phantom of the Opera, Cosette in Les Miserables, and Hodel in Fiddler On The Roof (opposite Theodore Bikel). A versatile singer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer, Tamra has performed numerous Broadway Pops Concerts with Symphonies across the US, and has recorded several of her own CDs. Tamra co-developed a series of patented iOS and Leap Motion apps which use color and movement to create music (MusicalMe Images).
 

JANNIE JONES was most recently seen on the FST stage in last year’s record-breaking Cabaret, Blue Suede Shoes. Earlier this year, she portrayed Lena Younger/Mama in the musical Raisin at Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe. Jones created the role of Annabella in Gathering Blue (World Premiere) at the Mt. Gretna Theatre and was Aretha Franklin and Nina Simone in A Night with Janis Joplin at Capital Rep. and the Barter Theatre. She performed with The Black Stars of the Great White Way with Tony Award- Winners Norm Lewis & Andre DeShields and Emmy Award Winner Obba Babatunde at the National Black Theatre Festival. Catch her episode of The Get Down (Cool Herc’s Mom) on Netflix and Power on Starz. BROADWAY/FIRST NAT’L BDWY TOURS: The Full Monty (u/s Annie Golden as Georgie) All Shook Up (Sylvia), Hair (Dionne) CARRE THEATRE: Mama, I Want to Sing (Sister Carrie), Faith Journey (Traci). She won an Audelco Award for August Wilson’s Fences (Rose) and A Bay Area Critics Award for Black Pearl Sings (Pearl). She received critical acclaim for two one-woman’s shows, My Castle’s Rockin’ (Alberta Hunter), and Ethel Waters, His Eye is on the Sparrow, written by Larry Parr and Premiering at Florida Studio Theatre. She can be heard on Barry White’s (CD) Practice What You Preach and has performed at Carnegie Hall.
 
ANNA STEFANIC is thrilled to be a part of Guitar Girls! A NYC-based actor/musician, some favorite credits include I And You (Kitchen Theatre Company), Beneath The Gavel (Bated Breath, 54 Below), Rusalka (Planet Connections winner, Outstanding Musical Production), The Last Bar At The End Of The World (Urban Stages), and we are destroyed (New York Theatre Workshop reading). Also a singersongwriter, her original EP, Warrior, can be found on Spotify and iTunes.
