Improv Drop-In

Want to have fun without a four-week commitment? Learn improv games, effective speaking techniques, creativity exercises, communication lessons, and more - all using the power of improv comedy. Actors and non-actors welcome!

This is a drop-in class. All sessions are open to any students.

Building on the skills we learned in Musical Improv 301, students will dive into Narrative Musical Long-Form in level four.

Improv 201: Finding the Funny

In Improv 201, students are introduced to character creation, space work, and finding the game of the scene.

Improv 601: Free-Form

Discover Free-Form Improv, built on the concept of "follow the funny," which proposes that every single moment, beat, line and movement in a show can be deconstructed and used to lead you to the next scene.

Musical Improv 101

Inspired by a single prompt, students will explore their voice, rhythm, and movement.

Improv 501: Narrative Long-Form

Building off Level 401, students will evolve from game-based play to narrative play.

Comedy Academy

A perfect class for improvisers with some previous experience who are looking for a refresher or beginning improvisers looking to deepen the work they did in FST Improv 101.

Musical Improv 201

Building off Musical Improv 101, students will focus on how to heighten their scene work through genre.
