Available Cupholders

July 25 - July 26, 2025 Bowne's Lab

FRIDAY

Akira Kurasowa's tour de force classic film, RASHOMON, gets the Cupholder treatment as we tell an improvised story three times through from three different perspectives. If there is bonus time, we will play The World's Hardest Shortform, where the audience mashes up different high difficulty improv games and watch us flail!

SATURDAY

The Cupholders will be performing one of their original formats. PROCESS is a spoof of producing a scripted play, except that everything, from auditions, to rehearsal, to opening night (complete with real costumes and props [gasp!]) are all improvised. PROCESS has played all over the U.S. and is an ironclad format for improv, guaranteed to have you rolling with laughter.

Running Time

90 minutes with a 15-minute intermission

It was such an enjoyable lampoon of all things theatrical that I'm already plotting a return visit
