Geoff Neuman

Dr. Geoffrey Neuman is an experienced conductor, music educator, and versatile bassist. He serves as Director of Instrumental Music at The State College of Florida and has over 29 years of teaching experience, specializing in string pedagogy and conducting. A Grammy Signature School awardee with his colleagues, he has conducted across the US and Europe, including his Carnegie Hall debut, and led ensembles at prestigious conferences such as The Midwest Clinic and NAfME. As a bassist, Neuman performs on both electric and string bass in classical, jazz, rock, and other genres. He plays with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, his jazz trio, and has performed with artists including Andrea Bocelli, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Elton John, and Itzhak Perlman. His performances have taken him to venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Village Vanguard, and the Kennedy Center, as well as major Las Vegas productions including Ka, The Lion King, and Mamma Mia!.

Paul Gormley

PAUL GORMLEY is a native of Southern California, who now is a permanent resident of Sarasota. Paul plays acoustic and electric bass, as well as being a music producer with ten credits. He has four CDs as leader in current release, and has had national radio airplay. Paul has performed or recorded with a wide variety of artists including Joe Williams, Anita O’Day, Vic Damone, Bobby Darin, Michael Feinstein, Eartha Kitt, Barbara Cook, The Hi-Lows, Herb Jeffries, Cab Callaway, Bill Henderson, Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis, Blue Mitchell, Conte and Pete Candoli, Jack Sheldon, Dick Hyman, Scott Hamilton, Jimmy Rowles, Ross Tompkins, Mundell Lowe, Lenny Breau, Alan Broadbent, Woody Herman, Les Brown, Percy Faith Orchestra, Billy Vaughn Orchestra, Ray Conniff and the Singers, Bill Berry’s LA Big Band, The Capp-Pierce Juggernaut Big Band, The Sweet and Hot Jazz Festival AllStars twelve times, and many more.

Bill Swartzbaugh

BILL SWARTZBAUGH has extensive experience in musical theater performing in many shows including the national tours of Wicked, West Side Story, and Billy Elliot. In addition, he has played in the orchestras behind touring bands such as The Who and ELO. Bill has also been a sideman for performers such as Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, Fabian, The Drifters, and Mannheim Steamroller. He is been an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa teaching contemporary bass in addition to a private lesson studio.
