James Quesada is the co-creator, producer and host of Sounds Funny. You might think of him as a mad scientist of improv, cooking up ideas that range from stupendous to just plain stupid. James has been featured at Improv Festivals all over the country and he's also the host of the educational channel Improv FAQ.
Julia Schroeder is an NYC actor, improviser, and comedian. She regularly performs improv, sketch, and solo characters all across NYC at Magnet Theater, The Peoples Improv Theater, Caveat, and more. Her most recent screen appearances were in the horror comedy Screamboat and playing an NBC Page on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Look for her on the festival circuit with The Sounds Funny Players, her duo Quicksand, and her sketch team Time To Kill.
Kihresha is an actor, improviser, producer, and human based in NYC where she performs and teaches at The Second City Brooklyn and beyond. She’s a proud cast member of The Sounds Funny Radio podcast and a proud alum of the Florida Studio Theatre and the Sarasota Improv community!
Raul is a co-creator and producer of Sounds Funny. He's a New York City-based improviser known for blending high-energy performances with dry wit. Raul has performed all over the city, including The Peoples Improv Theater, UCB, and Grove 34 in Astoria. With each show, Raul brings a fresh, engaging presence that keeps audiences laughing and thinking - hopefully not too hard on the latter. He continues to carve out his place in the vibrant New York comedy scene, one show at a time.
Lauren Arnett is a comedian and writer based in New York City. She's a cast member of Sounds Funny and hosts a monthly variety show, Boldly the Show. Lauren has performed at the UCB, The Peoples Improv Theater, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, The Armory, Magnet Theater, and most importantly, the New York Public Library.

Featuring workshops in a wide range of improvisational styles and techniques, there is something for improvisers of all experience levels at the 2025 Sarasota Improv Festival.
