AMY BODNAR is thrilled to be making her FST debut. She has starred on Broadway, off Broadway, in national and Canadian tours and in numerous regional theaters doing both plays and musicals. Recent theater credits include the world premiere of Freedom Rider at Alabama Shakespeare and Crossroads Theater, and The Streets of New York (Irish Repertory Theater). Recent television: Harlem (now streaming on Amazon) and the soon to be released pilot Great Kills. She has won a Broadway World Award for best actress in Comedy of Tenors at Actors Theater of Indiana, best newcomer award at Oregon Cabaret Theater, and been nominated for a Barrymore Award in Philadelphia.
MARISSA GAST is excited to join the cast of What the Constitution Means to Me. She moved here from NH to join FST for the 2022-2023 season as an Acting Apprentice. This fall, she was seen hanging from the aerial silks and flying on the Spanish web in FST’s Charlotte’s Web (Charlotte). Other credits include The Lightning Thief (Sally Jackson/Silena Beauregard), Dicken’s A Christmas Carol (Belle/Fred’s Wife), Momotaro: Peach Boy Hero (Momotaro), Twelfth Night (Feste), and The Odyssey (Hermes/Dance Captain).
KEVIN LOREQUE was most recently seen on TV in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Godfather of Harlem, and Pose. He’s a lead in the feature film, Small Time, on Amazon and Apple TV. Other television: The Blacklist, Daredevil, Elementary, and Boardwalk Empire. Theatre: I Am My Own Wife international tour (Africa, UK, USA), Broadway tours of Cats (Rum Tum Tugger), and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Papa Who). Regional theatre leads in The Elephant Man, Cabaret, Sleuth, Greater Tuna, Romeo and Juliet, and A Man of No Importance. Kevin is thrilled to be back at FST, where he played Patsy in Spamalot.
DEYSHA NELSON is known for her roles as Mya in the Netflix film Holiday Rush and Hanna on the CBS TV show God Friended
Me. She played Hedvig in the award-winning stage play, The Wild Duck, which gained rave reviews from the top Broadway critics. In early 2017 Deysha graced the stage here at Florida Studio Theatre as Devine in the tear-jerking play, Brownsville Song. Deysha has plenty of voiceover credits as well, one of her top projects was the voice of Kangaruthie in the Nickelodeon/Noggin show Tot Cop.
