MOLLY ANDREWS Recognized as one of the finest interpreters of traditional music, and an outstanding vocalist in various styles, brings a directness and intensity to everything she sings, on stages great and small throughout the US and Europe. AUSTIN ASHBAUGH makes his debut performance in Fire on the Mountain. He has trained for 4 summers here at Florida Studio Theatre as well as one summer at The Players Theater. Austin is 12 years old and is an Honor student at Brookside Middle School. He has also had 2 years of Stand- Up comedy training at McCurdy’s Comedy Theater.

MARK BACZYNSKI Mark’s theatre career began back in 1975 when he played opposite of Scott Bakula in a local production of Godspell. Recently he has found his niche in live theatre using his musical abilities. He has performed in over 2500 productions of A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline and “Patsy” A World Premier Tribute. Other credits include the national tour of Hank Williams: Lost Highway, Big River, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The Grapes of Wrath, Stonewall Country, and he just finished as a featured performer in The Medora Musical in North Dakota. Mark has degrees in the performing arts and elementary education. His home is in Nashville, Tennessee

ROB BARNES is in the film The Good Shepherd, directed by Robert DeNiro, and Parco P.I. on Court TV. He starred in the Fringe Festival production It’s a Hit, and touring in Crowns. Rob was Doaker in August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson, at Tampa Bay’s Arts Center. On
Broadway, Rob was in the original production of Hair, the original cast of Jesus Christ Superstar, and Dick Clark’s Rock & Roll. He has written Switch Seats, Mama & Papa (24/7), Solitude, Holding (a musical).

BRIAN GUNTER Brian is happy to be working at FST for the first time. Brian’s regional credits include over a dozen productions of Woody Guthrie’s American Song, including productions at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Northlight Theatre in Chicago, and Berkeley Rep, for which he received a Bay Area Critics Circle Award. Other regional favorites include The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial and Anna Christie at San Jose Rep, Smoke On The Mountain at Northlight, Of Mice and Men at First Stage Milwaukee, and In The Belly of The Beast and The Glass Menagerie
at Clavis Theatre in Milwaukee. Most recently, Brian toured schools in Austria, Italy, and The Czech Republic with This Land Is Your Land, another show inspired by the life and work of Woody Guthrie.

JIM PRICE Broadway: Ring of Fire, The Civil War. Tours: Les Miserables (1st National Tour and International Tour) Recent credits: Bat Boy: The Musical (original cast), bare: a pop opera (original cast), Saving Aimee (original cast), Seamarks (premiere new adaptation), Stand by Your Man (Goodspeed). Jim was a contributing composer for the musical Fishwrap! at the Adirondack Theatre Festival in 2002 and has also written two other musicals-- Patience: a new musical, and The Winner, as well as a new play, Vines. He has a degree in economics from the University of Michigan and trained at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.

THATCHER SVEKIS lives in Sarasota and is a junior at Pine View School. Thatcher has performed in numerous productions during his eight years in Florida Studio Theatre’s educational program. His future plans include pursuing a theatre major at the university level. This is his first professional appearance.
