The Next Marilyn
By Lynne KaufmanThe Next Marilyn
By Lynne KaufmanTerry Allen is a red-hot young movie star, so compelling in her voluptuous roles that critics have compared her to Marilyn Monroe. But Allen wants to be viewed as a serious actress, not just as a sexpot.
So she agrees to make her stage debut as Desdemona in a production of Othello that her extremely controlling boyfriend is directing. That production becomes a life-altering experience for all concerned in The Next Marilyn, a drama by Lynn Kaufman.
