The Prima Donnettes are back to feature a soundtrack for the hopes and dreams of women everywhere with songs such as “Chapel of Love,” “Delta Dawn,” and “I Will Survive.”

ALAYNA GALLO is very excited to be here in Sarasota and out of NY for the winter! Prior to playing Lorraine in Jersey Boys in the Chicago, 1st Nat'l Tour, Austrailia, and South African companies, she appeared on Broadway in Tarzan, played Ellen in Miss Saigon regionally and Mary in the European Tour of JesusChrist Superstar. She's performed all over the world doing private events for clients that include Jerry Jones, Clive Davis, Roman Abramovich and Donald Trump.
JANNIE JONES most recently received critical acclaim for her performance in Smokey Joe’s Café (B.J.) at Capital Rep and in Black Pearl Sings! at Virginia Stage, Capital Rep and Ensemble Theatre in Santa Barbara and at San Jose Rep, where she won a Bay area Theatre Critics Award for Best Actress, as well as in Hairspray! (Motormouth) at NC Theatre, the First National Broadway tour of All Shook Up and Juneteenth Legacy Theatre’s August Wilson’s Women, which garnered her an Audelco Award. Broad-way/Off-Broadway: The Full Monty, Mama I Want to Sing, Faith’s Journey. Other credits: Crowns (Cincinnati Playhouse & Rep Theatre of St. Louis), Grafton City Blues (Milwaukee Rep), Beehive (Arkansas Rep), Hair (European Tour), By Gershwin, All Night Strut, It Ain’t Nothin’ but the Blues, Ethel Waters: His Eye is on the Sparrow (FST). Jannie has toured internationally to over 23 countries. She has performed at Carnegie Hall with Spanish legend Raphael and on the last hit CD of the late Barry White, Practice What You Preach.
JIM PROSSER Over his many years at FST, Jim has most often performed in the Cabaret, where he has arranged and co-developed many shows including By Gershwin, Laughing Matters, European Cabaret, That’s Life, Again, British Invasion, Shakespeare’s Greatest Hits, Harry Who?, Too Darn Hot, and last season’s production of The Prima Donnettes. He has also served as resident composer/music director for FST’s Education department, writing numerous songs and scores for children’s shows such as Androcles and the Lion, RAP-Punzel, and the WRITE A PLAY elementary tours. During last season, Jim was pianist and music director for FST’s Sophie Tucker: The Last of the Red Hot Mommas at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theater.

COURTNEY STOKES is making her FST debut! Credits include The Secret Garden (Martha), Snapshots (Susie), Into the Woods (Little Red), and A Little Princess (Ermengarde) at TheatreWorks, Footloose (Rusty) at Kansas City Starlight, and Avenue Q (Kate/Lucy) at Mason Street Warehouse. Courtney’s favorite adventure to date was last fall when she toured Japan for four months with The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra in Disney On Classic. Proud Musical Theatre BFA graduate of University of California, Irvine!
