Led by artists like John Denver, Simon & Garfunkel, Harry Chapin, and Carole King, this musical revue celebrates their top hits and the songs that transcended generations. Featuring songs: “Sunshine on my Shoulders,” “Fire and Rain,” the classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” and “You’ve Got a Friend.”

DOMINICK CICCO never seems to get tired of coming to Florida for the winter. This will be his fifth cabaret at FST having appeared in Outlaws and Angels, Night Train to Memphis, Shake Rattle and Roll, Urban Cowboys, and now Poems, Prayers, and Promises. Good times! Dominick enjoys being versatile. He recently played Sparafucile in Rigoletto. Other opera favorites: Marcello; Escamillo. Theatre favorites: Sweeney Todd, Emile DeBecque. In film, Dominick has been seen with Mark Wahlberg in Invincible and Josh Hopkins in Lebanon, PA. He has also had roles on HBO’s The Wire and How to Make it in America. It’s great to be back in Sarasota!
DANIEL EMOND is honored and proud to make his debut with the Florida Studio Theatre in the 2014 Winter Season’s Cabaret production Poems, Prayers, and Promises. He most recently played Freddy in the staged reading of The Underclassmen with the Prospect Theater in New York. Daniel is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Drama, in the class of 2012.
SARAH HUND is happy to return to FST after last appearing here in Cowgirls. Favorite productions include Les Miserables (Fantine), 9 to 5: The Musical (Judy Bernly), Don’t Dress for Dinner (Suzette), The Sound of Music (Elsa Schrader), Four Messages (Kate) at Theatre Row NYC, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story at Walnut Street Theatre and Ogunquit Playhouse, and A Sanders Family Christmas at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. BEN MACKEL is happy to make his FST debut. Previously, he spent 8 years as a resident actor at Barter Theatre. Roles include: Clown (39 Steps), Matt (Fantasticks), Pinball Wizard (Tommy) and title roles in Joseph…, Peter Pan and Bat Boy. Regional credits: Flat Rock Playhouse, Mountain Playhouse and Children’s Theatre of Charlotte.
