Shake, Rattle, and Roll!
By Richard Hopkins, Rebecca Hopkins, and Jim ProsserShake, Rattle, and Roll!
By Richard Hopkins, Rebecca Hopkins, and Jim ProsserFifty years after "the day the music died," the influence of the early boppers lives on.
This show pays tribute to the talents of Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, Ritchie Valens and many more, with hits like "Peggy Sue," "La Bamba," and "American Pie." These artists introduced the world to Rock 'n' Roll: with a west-Texas country sound, sweet harmonies of Kentucky bluegrass, and the electrifying rhythm and blues of Memphis.
