DANIEL EMOND began unstoppably to tell stories as a youngin. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the School of Drama at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Daniel has split his time evenly as both writer and performer. Daniel has formed three bands, all of which regularly play around the New York/Tri-State area and tour around the country (The Blue Eyed Bettys, Act One, and Lion and Spaniel); co-founded the Oh! Force Theatre Company with his school mates, dedicated to fostering and developing new live theatre; produced three full length albums of original music (two more currently in production); and performed in regional theaters from Sarasota, to Boston, to upstate NY. Most notably, Daniel acted, sang, and played clarinet at the A.R.T. in the broadway-bound Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. Daniel is also a dedicated music and theatre teaching artist, and has completed the Kenan Fellowship at Lincoln Center Education. danielsswelltunes.com

BEN MACKEL is thrilled for his 5th show at FST. He grew up doing shows at Flat Rock Playhouse in NC. Then received a BFA in Musical Theatre at Catawba College. After some summer stock jobs at a couple different theatres, he became a year-round resident actor/composer at Barter Theatre for 8 years. He then moved to NYC where he got his first job with FST and met his beloved Bettys! Now he enjoys juggling touring/songwriting/composing musicals/acting, all while enjoying his mountain home of NC. His most recent acting show was All Is Calm - The Christmas Truce of 1914. His most recently produced musical was Winter Wheat - which is a show centered around the women's suffrage movement. KROY PRESLEY is excited to be joining up with The Blue Eyed Bettys at Florida Studio Theatre this summer. His debut at FST was in the winter of 2016 when he played the role of Jay Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet. Kroy began playing music at the age of 8 starting with piano then he discovered his passion for the electric bass. Eventually his musical journey lead him towards learning how to play the upright bass.
