DANIEL GLAUDE is a versatile multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. Glaude can usually be found performing in New York’s historic jazz clubs including Birdland, Smoke, and the Blue Note, among others. He has performed with a wide variety of artists including Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, Ed Palermo Big Band, Dee Snider, and many others. Glaude maintains an active schedule including international tours, recordings, and an active teaching studio.
ASSAF GLEIZNER graduated from SUNY Purchase with a degree in Jazz Performance. Since graduating Assaf has been consistently working as a music director, orchestrator, arranger and performer all over the world. Favorite credits include: Off-Broadway: Full House (Randolph Theater Canada & Theater 80) MD & Orchestrations Flak House (Actors Temple) orchestrations and vocal arrangements. The Travels (NYMF) orchestrations, vocal arrangements, MD. I Battled Lenny Ross (Ensemble Studio Theater) MD Regional: Cassandra (Proctor's Theater) orchestrations and MD. Other projects: Show Choir the Musical (NYC) orchestrations, Cyrille Aimee and the Surreal Band (Birdland) arranger/performer, Les 7 doigts de la main (Canada) composer, arranger, performer.
KIMBERLY HAWKEY was born in Upstate NY and attended Fordham College at Lincoln Center in the cultural heart of Manhattan. In 2013, Kimberly was awarded the Gold Medal & Johnny Mercer Award for her multi-genre performances at the American Traditions Competition in Savannah, GA. That same year, Kimberly received the Jazz Forum Arts Vocal Award (Westchester County, NY) and was named the All-Star Champion of NYC's Cabaret Showdown while working Full-Time as Artistic Coordinator at a world-renowned music venue. Kimberly is now a freelance musician, instructor, and performer with credits ranging from critically-acclaimed Musical Theatre productions to solo jazz concerts in NYC. NAT RANSON was born and raised in New York City, and began playing trombone at a young age. After graduating from SUNY Purchase with a Jazz Performance Degree, He moved back to his home Borough of Brooklyn, where he continues to play an array of different music.
OLVIER WATKINSON grew up in a musical family, studying Violin, Piano, Voice, and Cello from middle school onward. In highschool he started studying upright and electric bass and attended the New England Conservatory to pursue a degree in Jazz Bass Performance. Oliver has taught and performed at multiple festivals and workshops, including the 2011 Jazz Educators Network conference in New Orleans and the 2012 Panama Jazz Festival. He now lives in New Orleans, Louisiana.
URI ZELIG was born in Tel Aviv to a musical family and a rich musical community. He began playing drums and piano at the age of 10 and started performing in numerous settings only a few years later. Zelig worked with some of Israel's finest artists while becoming a recording musician and teaching the drums privately. After completing his fruitful period in Israel, Zelig moved to New York City in 2012 to pursue his musical education at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, from which he graduated with honors. He is currently playing all over town, recording and composing original music.
