This intriguing new play follows the extreme lengths two couples go in order to have a baby. Babel probes the world of modern eugenics, explores the societal value of a baby, and asks us what we are willing to risk for love. A National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere.

ANIQUE CLEMENTS is an NYC based actress. Thrilled to be visiting FST once more, she previously appeared as Dt. Morris in The Nether and Kerry in Kunstler alongside her castmate and friend, the late Sam Mossler. Other recent credits include NYC: The Savage Queen (National Black Theatre); Thou Wilt Scream (Random Access Theatre). Regional: Cymbeline, The Scottish Play, White Rabbit, Red Rabbit, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Great River Shakespeare Festival).
LUCY LAVELY Lucy Lavely is from NYC & is thrilled to make her FST debut! She loves Shakespeare, Sondheim, the sun, salsa, chips, & all the cool plays she's done! Favorite credits include: Macbeth (Orlando Shakes), Grapes of Wrath & Other Desert Cities (Asolo Rep), Chicken Shop (Urbanite) and more across the country. University of Notre Dame (BA) & FSU/Asolo Conservatory (MFA), AEA/SAG/AFTRA. Lucy runs the Night Shift Theatre Company, and is a licensed NYC tour guide. @rainbowdaylucy
