At FST, Sarah is a Resident Artist and the Associate Director of FST Improv, where she performs regularly, teaches for the FST School, and writes for the Children’s Theatre and cabarets. Sarah also leads original theatre projects for adults with disabilities in partnership with The Haven, creating inclusive, joy-filled productions that center acceptance and self-expression. She’s here for the weird, the warm, and the wonderfully unexpected.
KEVIN ALLEN is a writer, videographer, content creator, and actor. He moved to Sarasota from Chicago, where he studied and performed improvisation at iO and The Second City. He earned Theatre and English degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he was a member of the legendary Comedy Wars ensemble. Kevin is also a writer and performer in the FST sketch
group and was a contributing writer for the 2022 FST Cabaret Laughing Matters.
MEL RUBIN is a hip hop improv performer, instructor and beatboxer based out of New York City. She studied long-form improv and musical improv comedy at the Magnet Theater (NYC), and is a performer on the hip hop improv team North Coast, who has been featured in The New York Times and Time Out New York. Mel is also an active performer, workshop facilitator and public speaking coach with freestyle+. If you ever catch Mel around Brooklyn with her tiny dog Milo, be sure to say hi to her (after you say hi to Milo, of course).
SWIFT RICE has been able to become an accomplished actor working on projects such as Outer Banks, The Outsider, Black Lightning, Atlanta, Bessie, Dear Evan Hanson and many more. Rice has currently leaned into creating his own path by starring in and producing the feature film “Generational Gap”. A romantic comedy about a recent divorcee trying to find his way back into dating. This is the first of a series of films that Mr. Rice plans to complete. Comedian, Actor, Teacher, Mentor, Producer, and now Filmmaker, Swift Rice is the true definition of...ART.
RALPH KRUMINS is a long-time improviser who fled the plains of Kansas and now lives in the semi-tropical entropy of Southwest Florida. He’s been teaching and performing improv for over two decades, crafting scenes, minds, and occasionally set pieces. Ivories Guy is his solo musical improv experiment—equal parts melody, madness, and moments that shouldn’t work but somehow do. Expect chaos. Expect joy. Expect key changes.
Anthony has been improvising since 2012. He is the founder of Improv U, a musical improviser, improv teacher and producer of two solo musical shows.
NIKITA BURDEIN (he/him) was born in Ukraine, raised in Chicago, and currently resides in New York City. He's a filmmaker, theater creator, video editor, podcast producer, ad man, animator, writer, musical improviser, comedian, teacher—though very bad at sports. Nikita performs comedy all over NYC. He can be seen Tuesdays at UCB Theater NY performing on Harold Night with his team, The Prophecy. He also performs with Magnet Theater's weekend team, Premiere, and with Baby Wants Candy.
