2024 Sarasota Improv Festival
LOSPLEIMOVIL (Chile) was created in 2000 under the direction of actor and director Claudio Espinoza, along with actress and theater pedagogue Lissette Villegas, with the intention of promoting and researching stage improvisation, a genre that had not been showcased as a final artistic event by any professional theater company in the country until then. Thus, they became the pioneers of improv in Chile. Each show has a wide range of styles, from improvised games to full-length stories
About The Show:
"Elephant Memory" is a spontaneous creation show where three improvisers and one musician will invent and perform three different stories, without a script or prior agreement.
Starting from a location suggested by the audience, the story of the first character and their surroundings will unfold. Once it concludes, the audience will choose which character's story they want to see next among all those introduced.

Featuring workshops in a wide range of improvisational styles and techniques, there is something for improvisers of all experience levels at the 2024 Sarasota Improv Festival. All workshops take place Saturday, July 13.
