In 1930s Europe, cabaret clubs became the beehive of Bohemian artists and intellectuals. They fiercely challenged social mores of the era. European Cabaret celebrates the sophisticated sounds and subversive ideas that exploded from this sub-culture. Artists of the era included Marlene Dietrich, Edith Piaf, Kurt Weill, Jacques Brel and many others.
