Florida Studio Theatre's Education Program
is celebrating its twenty-seventh year of outstanding programming. From the
modest beginnings of 11 students in 1982, the program now reaches thousands
of students across the region through innovative classes, workshops, tours
and other activities.
The acting classes use a technique based on the Stanislavski method; the actor must learn to generate truth on stage. The staff is comprised of a core of theatre professionals trained to teach free from personal dictates. Our methodology helps each person find his or her own "door" to creative achievement.
Whether your interest is to explore personal creativity and confidence, or serious training in the theatre, you will find your artistic home in Florida Studio Theatre's School.
