Jack, a young boy long considered “not very bright,” embarks on a quest to discover the truth about his missing father and sister. Along the way, Jack encounters adventure, danger, an enchanted beanstalk and an amazing giant. Jack learns everyone has the potential for greatness locked inside, and with care and nurturing our ordinary lives can become extraordinary. Jack’s journey up the beanstalk allows him to experience the importance of perseverance, bravery and self confidence.

The Play that Inspires Writing!
SETTING. CHARACTER. CONFLICT. DIALOGUE. This show inspires your students to write their own plays and participate in our 2012 Young Playwrights Festival. Actors will perform at least two award-winning plays written by youth as a model, in addition to using improvisation and participatory learning as tools to inspire writing.
